When Valerie was in her teens she was 1.93 meters tall and she towered over the teachers and the year 13 pupils at her school. It was truly amazing how tall she was.
Once when Valerie Adams was in the Olympics she went up against someone who was using steroids.
After 1 year they found the person who was using steroids to win the shot put match and they took the gold medal off of her and gave it to Valerie Adams.
