In social studies, we have been learning about the roman empire and all of the this that Romans have made, for example, the coliseum, concrete, aqueducts, highways, early plumbing, and sanitary management, first surgical tools, early forms of newspapers, census, and a welfare system. we have also learned about roman numerals and they were really easy to understand.
Today in social studies I have been making a poster about Roman gladiators. I think I did a pretty good job making the best poster I could.
Technology has changed the way we use computers.
Computer's make our lives easier by making it easy to access the internet. It also makes banking a lot easier for the people at banks so they don't need to use pen and paper anymore. Computers are super fun to use. They are also good because they can play games. It's super easy to use but it has such a complicated circuit that's built into the computer. Computers are easy to use when you are trying to start a business and make a site. Computers are also easier to communicate with each other by emailing them. Computers are really cool things to use when you need to complete some work. Computers are now getting better and better every day so there good.

Martha
The Challenge faced by Martha:
Being poor and being bullied by the other kids.
How she reacted to the challenge:
She kept to herself and didn’t give the bullies much reaction, but her running still encouraged the bullies to continue bullying her.
What that shows us about Martha:
She is quiet and brave but some of her decisions encouraged the bullying to continue and might have been the wrong choices.
Extra for Experts:
Martha’s rights are being bursted by the bullies chasing her around and torturing her by calling her name and being really rude like hitting her and spitting at her.
For the past week, we have been playing badminton in P.E. Today I am going to tell you how to score a game of badminton You can play badminton in singles or pairs. There are smaller lines for a single match and wider/deeper lines for a doubles match. if you hit the shuttlecock over to the opposite side, and they don't hit, but it lands within the court lines, you score a point. If a server is unsuccessful in hitting the shuttlecock over the net, or the serve doesn't go diagonal, it's a point to the other team and they get the next serve. if you hit the shuttlecock out of the lines/court, it's a point to the other team.
Today in social studies we have been learning about Dame Whina Cooper. and have been mapping the places that she marched from on google earth. It has been a very simple project that we have been working on, and I was able to finish it in a couple minutes. I think it was very easy to make the map and google earth was very easy to use when I was trying to map it. I didn't find anything challenging in making the map it was all very easy to use. I think I would try to do it a lot quicker next time because it was all very easy to use and it took me longer than it should have.
