Stem

This term I have been doing S.T.E.M every Tuesday afternoon. We had to learn how to make a raft out of tape and straw's. First we made the base then we made the sail then we stuck it together to make a raft. I was in a team with connor topp we made the raft together he made the base I made the sail and it turned out really fine we found it challenging to stick all the pieces on to the base.

I thought Rangitoto Island was the best island I seen because I was amazed how beautiful that island is and I was wondering how dark the cave's will be and I would also like to know if there was a caveman was in the dark cave.

For this week, we started to do calendar art. first, we had to choose between 3 different types of art: happy hearts, skyline/city scape, and a decorative koru . I chose the skyline/city scape . First, we made drafts and practices. Next, we started to make our real ones on a special calendar paper. After that, we colored in our drawings. Here is my calendar art with vivid.
