Discovery task

In health, we were assigned a task requiring us to do a DLO about steroids in sports. We had to make a poster about steroids in sports. Our poster was not finished, but it had some information about why using steroids in sports is bad and about one of the steroid incidents in the Olympics 2007. In 2007 when the Olympics were happening someone decided they wanted to cheat so they used steroids and faked the tests. The person who cheated was Nadzeya Ostapchuk, and she cheated in shot put. After the game, she had to take a drug test in front of everyone so she could not cheat the test and when the results came back everyone was surprised, she had cheated to win.

In my opinion, you should never use drugs to help you get an advantage over winning a game, you should always play to the best of your ability so you can grow stronger the right way.

Gloriavale

Women cook, clean, do the dishes and they also do the washing.

Religion plays a big role in Gloria Val they all believe in God and Jesus Christ and believe if they leave Gloria Val they will all be sent to hell

I think they are happy because they choose to be there their whole lives.

I don't know because they are told what to do they have assigned jobs to do and if they leave and some bak they are given a consequence.

I would not want to live in a place like Gloria Val because I would have to live in a place with no technology.

Human rights

Today in social studies Rhys and I made a poster about what we think is the top 5 human rights. Hopefully, the poster that we have made is good because we worked hard to get it done and it was really easy to do. This poster is probably the best work I have done in social studies so I hope you like it.

3. Freedom from slavery

4. Freedom from torture

5. Right to recognition as a person of law

1. We are all equal to each other we are all humans so we are the same different gender or not

4. We all should be able to live without being tortured

3. We all should have freedom from slavery but some people are still in slavery because of the colour of their skin.

5. Every person have the right to enjoy the person’s human rights without discrimination

2. We all have the right to live a great life.

I think it was really fun making this and it was super easy because it only took me 10 minutes to finish.
