Translation And Reflection

WALT; today we have been learning how to do some reflection and translation

Weather

WALT write an information report with the correct structure and language features
At school we have been learning about weather

“Boy it is a hot day” Quickly let's head to the pool!

Weather is a unexpected phenomenon. Weather can change minute by minute.

The weather at the moment is sunny. The sky is blue, beautiful and clear. The air feels crisp and cold. Every day the sun shines but sometimes we can’t see it.
The intense spinning of a tornado is partly the result of the updrafts and downdrafts in the thunderstorm (caused by the unstable air) interacting with the wind shear, resulting in a tilting of the wind shear to form an upright tornado vortex.

What does a f Flooding occurs most commonly from heavy rainfall when natural watercourses do not have the capacity to convey excess water. However, floods are not always caused by heavy rainfall.

There is nothing better than sitting inside a warm house looking at the storm raging outside. I love a good storm!Image result for weather

Work About Antarctica

Antarctica Description

over the last few weeks, during literacy we have been learning about Antarctica. We visited the Antarctic center and read lots of information about Antarctica. I wrote a description and a information report about Antarctica using the correct structure and language features.
I also research about climate of Antarctica and produced a information report and discretion story about...  climate change.

Antarctica is the coldest continent on earth and almost always stays the same size.
This is because the snow is so white that the sun reflects back into space. Antarctica is the coldest continent on earth, and has a climate of extremes. The continent is snow- and ice-covered, with freezing temperatures all year round. So-called "Catabian winds" can cause violent snowstorms that can last for days, and sometimes even weeks, making it very dangerous to stay outside. Antarctic weather. Antarctica is the coldest, windiest and driest continent on Earth. The average annual temperature ranges from about −10°C on the Antarctic coast to −60°C at the highest parts of the interior. Near the coast the temperature can exceed +10°C at times in summer and fall to below −40°C in winter. The South Pole is not the coldest place in Antarctica. The coldest temperature recorded in Antarctica was -89.6°C at Vostok station in 1983. The average winter temperature at the South Pole is about -49°C. Your home freezer is only about -15°C. The wind chill factor means that it can feel much colder.
